NYC
Urban Design Principles
Jeffrey and his team in the Urban Design Office led a process to create New York City’s first ever urban design principles, project protocols and training curricula for planners. The process of creating these principles involved extensive internal and external listening and a careful balancing of institutional values and external expectations. These principles are still in place today and continue to communicate the City’s design and planning priorities in a clear and consistent way.
