Public Realm Vision Plan for the Waterfront, Peekskill NY

The Peekskill Waterfront Vision, completed in 2025, was a collaboration between the City of Peekskill and Partners in Public Design to reimagine the waterfront and surrounding streets as a welcoming, walkable, and culturally vibrant destination. Rooted in community input and the city’s rich artistic identity, the vision explores how public spaces along the Hudson River can become places to gather, explore, and celebrate Peekskill’s unique character. 

Through public engagement, design exploration, and illustrative sketch renderings, the project establishes a framework for strengthening connections between downtown, transit, and the river while enhancing comfort, safety, and everyday enjoyment of the waterfront.
